Tean Valley held its annual invitation High Five tournament at the South Moorlands Leisure Centre in Cheadle on Sunday, Dec 6th.
Thirteen teams contested the competition in two age groups.
Newcastle Town Pumas won all 5 matches in the Under 10 competition and claimed the winners' shield; Tean Valley Tots took the runners-up spot.
In the Under 11 competition, it was Tean Valley Lightning who won all 6 of their matches to take the trophy. Alsager were the runners-up.
The improvement in skill level during the competition was incredible. Some of the children involved were playing in their first tournament and their enjoyment and determination were plain to see.
Tean Valley sold refreshments and raffle tickets on the day and were delighted to raise £150 for the Donna Louise Trust.
